The Canadian Bathtub

David & some of the guys got back from the Forest City Velodrome in Canada yesterday - they raced in the CamAmQue Challenge in London, Ontario. In addition to racing, they also went to Fudrucker's, Tim Horton and to a Canadian Wal-Mart! Here are some photos from the trip:

This is Kevin, Tom, David and Tadeusz. I've never met Kevin and Tadeusz crashed pretty hard - but he's ok!

Check out how steep the track is! It's only 138 meters with 50 degree banking! I can't even walk on that, and I have four feet.

In related news, just a reminder that we're only about 6 weekends away from the beginning of the race season. So please step away from the baked goods, put down the growlers and get riding! (except maybe today, since it's wack ass cold outside).

Brown Triangles

Like many of you out there, I've developed what I like to call my "winter layer". With all the holiday parties I went to and baked goods I received over the last several weeks, it's hardly any wonder. So now I'm back on the brown triangles. Just to be clear - it's NOT diet dog food, it's LITE dog food.

Oh, Canada

This weekend some of the guys are driving up to Canada in Tom's Suburban to compete in the CamAmQue Challenge at the Forest City Velodrome in London, Ontario. I've never been to Canada, but I do know it's the home to many exciting people including Alanis Morissette, Celine Dion and that TV show that's been on forever called Degrassi. Oh, and they also say the word "about" kinda funny.

David hasn't raced on the track in quite a while, but as they say on Degrassi, whatever it takes, I know he can make it through...

Mad Suffering

Mom ran 10+ miles today with Annie and came home with a bloody ankle and sneaker. Hopefully she still has enough energy to give me my dinner.
